In the media

I love being alone (not counting dog)  in my study writing stories but it’s great to get out sometimes and practise my social skills.

A night with Ian Rankin

For the inaugural First Fictions Festival in Brighton 2012, the headline event was my  interview with internationally best selling crime writer, Ian Rankin. It was an enjoyable, informal wide ranging discussion centring about Ian’s first, and still, unpublished novel.

A cold rainy night in Spitalfields. But in a dark cellar off a side street,  Elizabeth and I talked about plotting crime.

BBC Radio Sussex

BBC Radio Sussex interviewed me after I won The People’s Book Prize for fiction in July 2010

Being interviewed by Lisa Holloway at The Space in Brighton
