Elly Griffiths (author of the fantastic Ruth Galloway novels) will be interviewing me about my new novel The Detective’s Secret. With guest Stephen Cassidy, retired Chief Superintendent of the Metropolitan Police who has helped me with research questions throughout my writing The Detective’s Daughter series.
My first job (Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings during my sixth form) was shelving books in Hammersmith Library. It was also the first library I ‘belonged’ to. From a little child, I had been an avid borrower from the mobile library that visited our street every Monday. It will be great to be back there.
