This was a lovely evening – thanks to the hospitality of both the Steyning Bookshop who organised the event and the Sussex Produce Store who put on a delicious meal. The bestselling crime writer Elly Griffiths  and I talked about how we write. We explored the importance of place in our fiction – Norfolk for Elly, Hammersmith for me. We were asked how we plan our stories and the issues to consider when writing a series. Great questions from a warm and enthusiastic audience. What a good night!
